2010 Fair At the heart of the most important agricultural growing area in the country, SIVAL stands out as the leading trade fair for speciality crops in France. Every year, more than 600 manufacturers, producers and distributors take advantage of the extent of SIVAL's influence to present their new products. With a floor space of 27,000 m², every year SIVAL welcomes 22,000 trade visitors in search of specific solutions for their farms.
2010, creating synergies
As a way of increasing opportunities for establishing new relationships, doing more business, and helping promote business activity and jobs in the specialist crops sector, two other events will be taking place alongside SIVAL in Angers in January 2010.
On Tuesday 12 and Wednesday 13, VEGEPOLYS is organising the Plant International Meeting at the Angers Centre de Congrès - an international gathering of opinion leaders and decision makers from specialist-crop businesses, in sectors including horticulture, viticulture, seeds, fruit and vegetables, medicinal and aromatic plants, mushrooms, cider and tobacco. And, being held at the same time as SIVAL and on the same site at the Parc des Expositions is the 3rd Fruit and Vegetable Event, a national event devoted to the marketing of fruit and vegetables (www.evenement-fel.com).
The fact that these three events are being held at the same time is bound to bring increased numbers of visitors connected to the specialist-crop sector.
