Novafel
Starting with SIVAL 2009, the fair’s discussion forum, Novafel, along with Végépolys, will launch a three-year period of debate and reflection on the subject of ‘Sustainable production’.
Topic for 2009
Given that SIVAL is the place where producers come to find the keys to their future success; given the various targets set by the ‘Grenelle’; and given that Novafel is a platform for communication and a forum for exchanging ideas, with the aim of broadening perspectives: given all this, starting with SIVAL 2009, the Novafel association is instigating a 3-year frank and open-minded debate on the subject of ‘Sustainable production’.
Producing more with fewer inputs, less energy and better management of natural resources:
Can environmentally friendly agriculture be compatible with productivity and profitability?
How do we rethink the speciality agriculture of tomorrow in order to meet environmental and social challenges, feed the planet, and ensure sustainable production?
Sustainable production means reconciling the three components of sustainable development and production: in 2009, Novafel throws open the debate and offers an analysis of the state of play, together with some reflection and reasons for optimism, with the particular focus this year on problems linked to pesticides.
