The “diversification” meeting by SIVAL: Chestnut and raspberry

Brief presentation of chestnut and raspberry cultivation by exploring their respective specificities, from the basics of orchard design and management to production techniques. The following will be presented: • For chestnuts: the stages of orchard design and a high-density route dedicated to processing. • For raspberries: production methods (soil and above ground), crop calendars (seasonal and remontant), as well as crop management and protection practices. This forum will also highlight the challenges ahead for these Sectors .
