In addition to this varied offering, SIVAL is a platform for exchange and information for the whole sector with a rich and targeted conference program (155 experts and speakers present). New practices, new directions, diversification of production, new Sectors... at SIVAL, professionals are invited to exchange ideas and information at conferences and forums. Listening, debating, moving forward... and taking an active role in sector, these are the objectives of the SIVAL program.
SIVAL TV: a knowledge base for Sectors plants
SIVAL has positioned itself as a trade show for innovation, but also for content, thanks to its programming and extensive broadcasting over 3 days. All live and replayable on SIVAL Online, in French and English.
The program includes live coverage of the Forum (under glass), reports from the show aisles in partnership with RÉUSSIR Fruits & Légumes, interviews with the winners of the SIVAL Innovation competition, the Agreen Startup awards ceremony, and more.
This wealth of content, produced on the occasion of SIVAL, also gives visitors and exhibitors access to a V.O.D. catalog of over 350 videos produced since the 2022 edition of the show, on solutions in response to the challenges of the agroecological transition at the service of Sectors specialized plant.

SIVAL, a show at the heart of AgTech
SIVAL is a show that responds to the future challenges of production, focusing on innovation and the agriculture of tomorrow: hosting young innovative companies, SIVAL Innovation competition, AGreen Startup competition... In addition, SIVAL is part of a strong trend around AGtech and provides concrete answers in terms of connected and precision agriculture, robotics, data and AI, and alternative production methods...
SIVAL, a show with an international outlook
One of the show's key areas of development is its international reach. In Angers, SIVAL welcomes nearly 1,200 foreign visitors (55 nationalities) and 15% of exhibitors are from abroad. To reinforce its international reach, SIVAL is carrying out a number of initiatives, including
- organization with VEGEPOLYS VALLEY of the international business convention VIBE (500 BtoB meetings organized in 2024),
- hosting international delegations,
- the presence offoreign speakers and experts in the show's conference program,
- the Fruit 2050 event, held every other year, a forward-looking meeting dedicated to sector fruit professionals in Europe on the future of fruit production.
SIVAL supports employment in the plant sector
With the "Espace Emploi" open throughout the show and the organization of a Job Dating event, SIVAL, in partnership with APECITA, ANEFA and OCAPIAT, brings together recruiting companies and job seekers. It provides personalized support and advice, and offers applicants the chance to meet recruiters directly at the show, as well as to gain a better understanding of the sector's expectations. In addition, workshops and conferences on careers and training in the plant sector are offered, to enable participants to develop their skills and prepare for the demands of the market. Through these initiatives, SIVAL contributes to boosting employment in the plant sector, by promoting professional encounters and welcoming the future players of Sectors.
A show organized for and with professionals
Under the chairmanship of Bruno DUPONT, the SIVAL organizing committee is made up of VEGEPOLYS VALLEY and technical and professional organizations for specialized crops. SIVAL in Angers is one of the region's flagship events, and a key one for VEGEPOLYS VALLEY. It is the only event to bring together all Sectors members of the cluster to discuss their production issues.
Organized by Destination Angers, a brand supported by the SPL (Société Publique Locale) ALTEC (Angers Loire Tourisme Expo Congrès), whose two shareholders are Angers Loire Métropole and the City of Angers, SIVAL serves the development of Sectors plant production.
