In 2018 Britany, Centre Val de Loire and Pays-de-la-Loire represented 4,000 hectares of organic fruit crops (8,5% of French tree growing surface)

More than 2/3 of the West of France orchard are dedicated to apple growing (cider/juice/table) and the surfaces are substantially increasing (+29% vs 2017). This dynamic offer matches a similar dynamic demand as many users want to upgrade the production on the market of fresh and processed (juice, vinegar, compote) products

If you want to set up as an organic tree grower or diversify by planting an orchard, come and meet the professionals of the sector. They will tell you of their needs and answer your questions!

As the first global market for wine consumption, the USA is considered as a mature market with yet substantial growth perspectives thanks to a growing and dynamic national consumption. The marketing of imported wines follows a specific pattern: the 3-tier system. First export market for the Val de Loire wines, exports are up: +16% in value and +9% in volume in 3 years.

Given this market organisation, a panel discussion will focus on a return of experience from Loire Valley operators working in the USA, on support to companies operating on this market and on promotional collective actions for the Val de Loire wines in the USA.
