Speakers : Julien DUGUE, Philippe MARCHAND, DDT 49

The state of the water bodies in Pays-de-la-Loire is worrying: only 11% of these water bodies are in a good state. The causes are varied: bigger and bigger withdrawals, diffused pollutions, de-structuration of the river system, etc. Climate change will increase these concerns in the future and the summer 2019 drought may just be a foretaste. Collective involvement is more than ever necessary. The governmental agencies and their partners, and notably the agricultural sector, are getting together to improve the quality of our water bodies.
